The laptop · By itself
Nova runs on Aman’s own laptop, with no cloud server and nothing open to the internet.
Ordinary work happens there without asking: research, reading, sorting the mail, notes and lists, and drafts of X posts.
The AI models · Thinking and voice
Nova thinks with Claude models. His spoken words go to OpenAI’s speech-to-text, and Nova’s voice comes from ElevenLabs.
Meeting sound is written down on the laptop itself and never leaves it.
Services he chose · Mail, chats, sites
Such as Gmail and his calendars, Telegram and WhatsApp, X and LinkedIn, GitHub and Vercel.
Calls to these services and to the AI models are the only things going out.
His phone · The yes
Anything that buys, pays, sends to other people, posts in public or deletes waits for his yes.
It asks on his phone first, once per step.
A yes on the dashboard counts as much as one on Telegram.
Never · Kept out
It never sends a mail by itself: a reply is saved as a draft. Strangers get no reply, and meeting sound never leaves the laptop.
Nothing on the laptop is open to the internet, and the firewall blocks incoming traffic.
